Nothing wrong with diesel, but "M" and "diesel" just don't mix, imo.

i mean are you saying that diesel engines cant be associated with motor sport cz in my opinion they are in fact better in many cases for instance having much more power in lower revs, plus the more powerful a diesel gets the more efficient it is as well of cors the engines sound cant be compared to a V8 petrol or something but if we are just talking about performance i think a diesel engine can be very sporty, good for cruising and good for carrying heavy loads

Agree with you, diesel = great for cruising and moving heavy loads, but the M is not about cruising nor for carrying shit. The M should be the ultimate performance machine, and no diesel will be as powerful or as much fun to drive as a petrol.
Oh, and diesels need to be turbocharged to get power out of them, and that is not the M way :)
