Yup looking at this and laughing as I refuse to drink my clear tap water so pathetic I will actually get to the point of dehydration and getting sick before resorting to it.
(cont.) had to give of themselves for me to use. I love the way the aboriginal native Americans lived...nothing went to waste. Everything had a purpose and was used. I also belief that the sooner we learn to live in harmony with nature, the quicker things will stop being wasted. Instead, we fight nature and it hurt ourselves in the process. I've rambled enough. Thanks for all your work in bringing attention to the starvation of the people's around the world that many refuse to see.
(Cont.) Not to get too religious or anything, but when I pray, I am first off thankful for the blessings that have been put in my care and, second, that I will be found a good steward. This goes along with my belief that what I have is not really mine. I didn't bring it into this world and I can't take it with me when I die, so therefore it is borrowed. Everything from my coat that keeps me warm in the winter to my canteen to store water to drink - someone or something (cont.)
While it must have really bugged you on what your cameraman did, I definitely appreciate the contrast of the poverty lifestyle that you lived for the week compared to his affluent lifestyle. I'm from the US and it is simply staggering how much food and water is thrown away and wasted by consumeristic 1st world nations. If we lived like many of those in the 3rd world nations, then we would have greater appreciation for our luxury blessings and we would quit being so wasteful. (Cont.)
