Charity Case; A Mini Nelena Story pt. 1

Well, sorry I haven't posted in a LONG time its just, only like 2 people comment. I'm thinking about cancelling both series :/ I'm not sure yet though. How can you change my mind? Comment!

I wrote this story a while ago so I thought I'd publish it :] I don't really like how it turned out, but eh. Tell me what you think. By the way: its just a mini story, not a series.

FYI: In this story, Selena's name is Charity Selena Gomez. Trust me, it'll make sense in a little bit ;) She is 16 years old and her bro is 12. Okay here we gooo!

Have you ever felt out of place? Unwanted? So... misunderstood? I have. In fact, I have pretty much my whole life. Hi, I'm Charity. Charity? Yes, Charity. You see, when I was born I was unwanted. I was a mistake to my parents. I was a Charity case to them. So that's what they named me. As for my brother, he got lucky. The nurse saw my parents reaction when they saw him and how they said how they said he was another mistake, so she took it upon herself and named him Matt. Anyways, our parents hate us. they also hate eachother. They argue and fight all the time, and when they aren't, they're taking their anger out on us. Yes, our own parents beat us. I've pretty much raised myself and Matt. I'm a junior in high school and I hate it. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it. I just have to continue living my miserable life and act as if nothing's wrong... even though everything is.

At school, I get made fun of for being different. For being the outcast. It's been that way for a long time now so it's mutual.

Monday morning I woke up at 5:30am and got ready for school. I put on my black skinnies and my favorite Paramore shirt. I straightened my hair and put a small bow in it. I put on my black chucks, grabbed my backpack and skateboard and left for school.

I entered through the main doors and went straight to my locker. I put in my combination and opened it. I grabbed my chemistry book. I hated chemistry. Well, I liked the subject, but I hated my partner, Nick. He was mean to me all the time. He also made fun of me for being the outcast. Yet, he and I were a lot alike. But somehow he's very popular. Anyways! He is always teasing me and calling me names like "Whore" and "Slut." Which, to me, doesn't make eny sense. I've never really had aboyfriend. And I've NEVER done anything outrageous with a boy. Nor have I thought about it. The worst thing is... I think I've fallen for him. It's crazy, but true. It absolutely KILLS me to know I have no a chance of ever being his girlfriend. Or ever even being his friend, considering he hates me.

I walked straight into the room and went to my seat, next to Nick. Nick was rushing to finish his chemistry homework before class. He looked up at me for a split second then looked back down. "Sup, hoe?" he said.

"Why do you make fun of me all the time?" I asked, emotionless.

He put his pencil down and turned to face me. He smirked and simply said, " 'Cause it's fun." Then he want back to doing to what he was doing. I stared at him for a moment, in disbelief. I shook my haid and took out my materials. Just then the bell rang.

"Okay class, today I will tell you about a project you will be doing with your partner. It will take about 2 weeks to finish. You'll finish faster if you start as soon as possible." He explained what the project was about, but I couldn't concentrate. The only thing going through my mind was, "Crap! I don't want Nick to come over and see my disasterous family!"

"You may now disscuss your plans with your partner," Mrs. Clarkson said.

I turned to Nick slightly only to see him deep in thought.

"So..." I said, hoping to break the silence.
