  • really pretty...what movies was she in ?

  • Most of her movies were between the mid-Fifties and mid-Sixties but she is best known for her role in the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock thriller 'Vertigo'.

  • I read all the comments on this page; a few of u mentioned she was 'nervous' ornotconfident,or 'uncomfortable', and it had to do with her not so perfect teeth. She is one of many that 'rehearse' their 'best looking', least 'flawed' smile. Like MM, -who rarely showed her gumline in pics. With Kim, itwas more: she had an 'icy.aloof, classy, distanced prescence about her. That's y Hitchcock was so taken w/her.I find her 'persona' quite sexy n appealing- and from her success, so did tons of others.

  • This is one actress even stills don't do justice . You have to see her in the films working her allure-her charm and appeal, not only on the leading man but on the audience as well . Thanks basilnelson for this great stroll down Hollywood lane.

  • Let's see a picture I'll decide!

  • They always say that I resemble Kim Novak!

  • Very underrated.

Still beautiful and sexy too....in her 70s!

  • Kim Novak is my favorite actress and without a doubt the most underrated actress of all time.

  • Happy birthday dear Marylin Novak!

  • She is beautiful! I love her haunting performance in "Vertigo".

  • I just read your message Basilnelson, thanks You must be right one can percieve although with some difficulty her not so perfect teeth in one or two photos Didn't know she had them capped but the studios' people did correct their teeth ever since Hollywood began Still after have them arranged she smiled rarely pitifully She looked lovely smiling Quite good actress she was

  • She may have been a little self conscious of her smnile. If you watch her first feature film (third film in her career)Pushover 1954, you see her teeth before Columbia capped them for her.
