Wow...Surprised to see that Monsanto got so much publicity inside of Disneyland...This must have been after Walt's death, as I don't see him giving another company so much "exposure" in his theme park...

When Star Tours came in ... I didn't lament. At that time, the Disney Co. was still about innovation. And a simulator ride was new, and a breath of fresh air. However, since the time ATIS has been gone, Disney has not built anything as intriguing as ATIS. It's about cartoons - Nemo, Buzz, and exploiting brands from Pixar, to Marvel, and more. Originality has been pushed aside. And I'd rather wish for a new version of this old favorite of mine, than the cartoon crap they are pushing today!

I love seeing the history. I have many fond memories as a kid in the 80's and 90's and continue with my kids. Thanks for having this channel.

Plastic house at 1:58 was famous for being impossible to destroy with a wrecking ball. Job had to be finished with Sawzalls.

My favorite part was the little tube that people to waiting the board the ride could see. It was in a straight line with the scars entering the ride, and showed the cars and their occupants already reduced to about 1/5 their size. Of course, if you looked carefully, you'd notice the occupants of the real ride didn't match up with the ones on the "miniaturized" ride. Still a fun illusion.
