Wow, that actually looks interesting, if a bit on the simple side. Story and characters aren't the best in the world, but it looks like a fun little game. 10 bucks might be a bit much, but if it were around the 500~800 point range it might be worth it. Looks good.

I am SO glad you have a language selector at the start. I am so sick and tired of seeing badly translated Dutch games when all I want is a nice English version. Also makes it more recordable for the net!

@moogledotcom Ah well, that's cool then. I don't doubt it can get more complex, I just meant to say that compared to something I'm more familiar with, the story of slimes doesn't quite click with me right away like something else would... *shrug*

@moogledotcom Tetris is fine, if I feel like playing it. Actually, I don't have to judge every game the same. They're not people, they're just games. If I like them then I can say why I like them. If I don't, I can say why I don't like them. It might be that I hate a game for doing something that I actually like in another game. It entirely depends on the type of game. Honestly, my original comment was very short and unconfrontational; I don't understand what's got you so worked up about it.

@moogledotcom No, I don't need the story to be GOOD in a game, but I'd prefer it not be right out of left field. 'Slimes living in a forest of blah blah blah' doesn't exactly interest me. 'Bounty Hunter with a Single Mission' does. I suppose the more correct term would be the scene or scenario, the backstory, rather than the actual story told in the game. In other words, the compelling motivational force to get started, let alone finish the game. It's not terrible, but not compelling either.

@moogledotcom metroid has one of the best stories! as for mario, its a simple game, so its a simple story, bowser kidnaps princess blah blah blah.... metroid has a powerful story line
