So how much seam allowance did you leave? To me, it looks like an inch... but its hard to tell. (I usually go half an inch on my patterns... should I go a full inch for this one?)
-
how much fabric should we buy for this project?
-
how big should we make seam allowance?
-
Why pinking shears? I've been sewing for 40 years and rarely use pinking shears. Just wondering why you wouldn't cut it out with regular shears. Is it so the seam allowance is finished?

Is that skirt died with tumeric??

I wish they would sell those tracing wheels here, i've only seen single ones.

It's great you back, I was waiting for you and Megan to come back to DIY world! Thanks!!! And one question: could you, please, give me a name of the company from which you have this tracing paper? I couldn't find it in Poland (where I live), so probably, I'll try to buy it online. Thanks again!

I think you'd look great with hair just about at the bottom of your neck and with bangs swiped to the side

I think you should leave it nice and long. You have such beautiful hair...
does the wheel make holes in the pattern or is it similar to carbon paper where it just imprints the pattern?

@bluegemini24 It just imprints the pattern but over time it will weaken it. If you plan on using the pattern a bunch of times, I would put clear packing tape over the outline to make it last longer.

@LuvMadonna626 I know right?! Growing it out for the wedding. Toying with the idea of cutting it into a bob with bags after...what do you think?

What a nifty way to do seam allowance!

@missavaricebliss I love this method. It makes pattern making a little bit easier.
