Clearly the weight was not the problem here. you can tell as the reps went on the weight went up easier. the dumbells are both not safe because the collars are loose, and the big plates sometimes touch my hands and pinch the skin, also my hands were cramping from holding them. the bench is rickety and its so skinny that one side of my body was off of it more than the other, also the bar catches get in the way and i was smushed into them. id like to see what i can get i na gym lol.

  • Dont take it as a insult but it looked like you were strugling with them weights.And the other thing is i work at a gym so i use set dumbells but at my home gym i have spin collar dumbbells and i think that there is nothing wrong with them.

  • @Survivalproduction why would i take it as an insult..i always lift to failure and 93 pounds are heavy weights to struggle with...i have vids of me doing 105s for reps on an incline i got much stronger. spin locks feel awkward for me

  • @Hurleysurfr this vids old...i do 105s on an incline now for 3 reps...and bench 300 at 178

  • @Survivalproduction Whats wrong with "struggling" it's how you become stronger? I have been training for 11 years and always struggle but am much stronger than when I started lol. Progressive overload.

  • i think you like to put the dumbbells on your thighs before you get into lifting position, perhaps tieing some neoprene thigh raps around your thighs will eliminate the stabbing feeling you get with spin locks, it should be more comfortable too
