If no one else mentioned this before or even if they did... you REALLY should be using a respo for this... resin is EXTREMELY toxic to the lungs...

@rhueoflandorin Smooth-cast 300... RESIN. I've worked with the stuff, it holds up pretty well.

he's not using resin, he's using Smooth cast 300. It's a different compound. it's not a resin.

Can you use Smoothcast on the outside instead of resin to make it stiffer?

@animatahr You can BUT I would not. Fiberglass resin is the way to go.
But if you try it let us know how it worked.

hey is that a re sized model? i want to do one but i want to wear it how can i make sure it fits before starting to work on it? and is there a way to make the visor out of another material instead of paper? coz that beats the whole purpose of wearing it

@xXHevionXx I don't think you understand the whole process yet. You make the model out of pep, reinforce it, detail it - in which you CUT out the the visor area and replace it with a motocycle visor. Watch more of my and other Youtuber's videos to learn more how this works.
The best place to learn is the 405th.com. There you will learn how to the whole process works and you can make game accurate and wearable (and see-through).
