A global famine that even can affect industrialized countries will be a consequence if the worlds waste of phosphorous don't stop. The essential element is a crucial ingredient in most fertilizers, and without it crops will not grows. A handful of countries are controlling most of the decreasing supplies of phosphate rock. Countries without it, could be in trouble.

The Norwegian science program Schrödingers katt aired the story about peak phosphorous in april 2010. This English subtitled version has been published on youtube after request from the participants.   • Thanks Sawls for pointing out this video on Peak Phosphorous. "In the video at 11:30 the scientist mentions that when we have fusion the phosphorous issue will be solved, presumably because super cheap energy will allow extraction from sea water (I guess)." 

  • FOOD Shortage in 2033????????????????? HOW ABOUT NEXT YEAR? Why are you doing this. You know well that the current food levels are stressed. the levels are lowest now than the entire existence of the USA. We have all but given away our farming to other nation where they use slave labor to feed us. Our system is based on cheap labor and everyone is becoming cheap labor. That is why it is failing. We can't survive on this money system of greed. we sell out ourselves for greed and suffer
