Elijah is 15 months old and these are some of his signs he just started using. Because he was born with a cleft palate (repaired at 10 months old) his speech has been and will continue to be delayed for a little while. Learning signs has been a great way for him to begin communicating with us. This isn't a perfect example of Elijah doing all of his signs, and I couldn't figure out how to edit out parts of the middle, so be patient. His best one is the very last one at the end.

  • aww! can he talk?

  • How old was Elijah when you started the sigh language? My daughter Madeline was born with a cleft palate as well as being tounge tied. She will have both surgeries at 11months and probably won't speak until afterwards with therapy. Any advice that you have would be greatly appreciated. Your little boy is adorable!
