Liam Doran wins the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix 2011

Liam Doran wrapped up a massive season with the perfect homecoming win at the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft. It wasn't all plain sailing though. Running the 2l 518bhp Citroen C4 in the final round of the British Champs as more of a shakedown for the main event Liam was met with a sickening misfire, belching smoke all over the circuit and wrecking the team's preparations.

After putting the hours in the car was up and running for the Grand Prix the following day but gremlins struck again with steering issues first, leaving the front wheels out of line. Come the final Liam was nursing the car only to find he was left with 2 gears part way through the heat. Showing insane amounts of race craft and instinct he brought it home despite the field coming back to him.
