hello. I'm an italian nurse that assists a patient with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ). in this video i noticed that he uses a normal notebook to communicate.
I just wanted to know which software is used. Very important is the software for the eye tracker... can a normal webcam be used?

The system used in this video is Quick Glance 2, by Eyetech Digital Systems, which can indeed be mounted on an normal laptop. A normal webcam can not be used, only the camera provided by Eyetech, who provide the software as well.
