@fyrewolffe: You seem to suggest that I think there are no jobs out there and that I support the welfare state . Neither is true. My original point was to show that this tired mantra of 53 percent of people paying no taxes was factually incorrect. You've projected onto me lots of things I've never said or even implied and it's building to ridiculous levels. So let me set the record straight: I want to end the welfare state AND the income tax. Would this not render the speaker into someone who's telling folks what they already believe to be true? I won't defend Obama, but to claim to know anyone's specific intentions, especially when viewing them through the filter of television is ridiculous. How can you do anything more than jump to hasty conclusions or guess?

Quite frankly, everyone I "work" with, yes those who actually do work, are only sickened by lazy liberals who seek to live on someone else's dime. You, nor anyone else can convince me that there are just no jobs out there, I see postings for them all the time, or that the liberals in this nation don't want a "free lunch"!

I know far too many people working 2 or 3 jobs to survive yet they demand nothing, liberals by contrast seem to value their labors far too highly.

I seriously doubt this as they would've lost their jobs a long time ago for skipping out on work simply to protest, (how long has this been going on?), alas protesting is not covered by sick days. Frankly these "people" seem to suffer from an entitlement "complex" as they demand "FREE" healthcare, education, subsidies, etc.
