what kind of mcp are you using im going for the opencockpits but wondering if it will work with prosim
WackyBroProductions 9 months ago
@WackyBroProductions It will, but you have to use SIOC script to make it work, plus it is not backlit. I use CPflights MCP....easy to setup and use plus it is backlit. Dave

Thanks Dave. I purchased the OC CDU as well but i'm having issues getting the screen powered. I have used both a video converter along with switching the video card input from ntsc to pal. How did you wire your cdu? Once again, stellar project!

You have to download (free) the latest SIOC program from OC. You also have to go into your computers control panel and click on dislays. There should be a choice of options and the one you want is "connect to an external display". This will create 2 screens, one of which is the prosim CDU You drag the image to the right off your main screen and you will see it on your CDU screen. That's all there is to it. Assuming you have Windows 7 as I do.

Awesome job Dave! Which 737 aircraft model do you use with your avionics software?

@flyboyandre If I use FS9 I use the PMDG 737, if FSX the default 737 but modified including the PMDG 737 sound package. Regards Dave
