@point5past i often hear people use "penultimate" to mean "super-ultimate," as in, "meeting the cast of gilmore girls was the penultimate experience of my life!" - i reply to such people, "then you did one more thing, and then you died?" - makes me crazy, for some reason.

it's such a breath of fresh air, hearing someone use the word "penultimate" correctly; its frquent misuse is a pet peeve of mine. i'm going to sorely miss the veda videos of a few youtubers, but none so much as yours, michael; they've been bright spots in my days all month long.
