  • @gpwerner That was unfortunate. UCLA gave the WORST defensive performance I have ever seen vs. Miami. On top of that, There were unforced turnovers by UCLA, like Brian-Poli-Dixon running with a catch on his way to the end zone and inexplicably drops the ball, then there was the phantom fumble call on Melsby...It was a bizarre day.

  • @69FOSTER Too bad UCLA couldn't return the favor in 1998. Kept Arizona out of the Rose Bowl.

  • BEAR DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The story I remember is that Arizona warmed up in their home jerseys, but because of some mix-up or miscommunication, ASU thought THEY were going to be wearing their home jerseys for this game. Arizona had to switch to their away jerseys before game time. This prompted the NCAA to make a rule forcing the visiting team to always bring their away jerseys.

  • So did Arizona wear there white jerseys at home? How long did they do this for?

  • Whoever put this video up, THANK YOU! As a UCLA fan, this game was one of the five happiest days of my life! The 'Cats put UCLA into the Rose Bowl for the first time since I started following UCLA football and I had a wonderful trip to Pasadena thanks to U of A! Los Angeles radio station played the U of A radio broadcast of this game and I listened intensely and was cheering like mad. Until now, I had not seen video highlights of this game, which I've always wanted to see. Thanks!
