  • Great to see this live but why the hell wasn't the camera on Geddy during the bass solo? I wanna see those moves!

  • @McLeanAB88 Yeah, where can I get the whole performance? ANYONE???

  • What is this video from? A DVD? If so, is it available somewhere? I don't recall ever seeing/reading about a live video from this time period. Any info is greatly appreciated!

  • whatev this is a fkn fat riff

  • @RubixTutorial01 They both have their strong points, but I would be very interested to hear some of the newer material (from Test For Echo until now) played on one of the Ludwig sets.

  • @cymbalslasher i know where your going at with how much better the ludwigs were in neils hands but the dws sounded way better in the direction of where their genre of music was going.

  • I liked the Wal too. Seems like Geddy was using pretty much just bridge pickup in those days.

  • This is one of my favorite songs!

I will see them alive here in Brazil... On October 8th 2010

    RUSH RULES

  • @keymaker2112 Presto a very overlooked album, i think it is outstanding, with songs like this one, the Pass, and Presto being very cool tunes, and yeah, you're right, really doesn't matter which album you put on.

  • Another vote for the Wal basses here. To me the Fender jazz sounds too dirty in Geddy's hands at least. Almost like Korn or something, too much clickety clacking. (although I built me one) Marcus Miller gets a good tone from them, that's for sure.

Now let's discuss the sound of Neil's Drums form this era compared to now.

I think the Ludwig Super Classics have more balls and blend better with the other intruments. To me DW's are too transparent sounding out in front of the mix.
