400 RWHP is no fail. This car puts down roughly 255 RWHP & is now laying down an extra 145 RWHP meaning it will spank a C4 ZR-1, C5 Z06 & C6 corvette for a fraction of the costs & hes only running 5psi of boost. not many cars can make that claim and some of these C4 turbos pump out 650Hp.

Not to be a douchebag, but that is actually incorrect too. Forced induction kits for imports are outrageous. Check out the BMW E46 M3 Level 2 supercharger kit from Active Autowerke. $12,000..

When for that same kit, minus the brand name and it's reputation with BMW, it's worth maybe $3,000. I love European cars, but it's why I still hold onto my old Camaro. Stuff is cheap.

I have a 88 c4 and am building it now. I am wondering how much do you have in the turbo kit and how hard was it to install. The Vette sounds great by the way those turbos really wake it up. Thanks

@wildbloodydragon its a local machine shop... you have to remove and strip the engine yourself, which takes time and anyone with any kinda skill can do it, thats why they can give such good deals!

its in nova scotia, by the time you get your engine here it wont be worth it lol

@mageac Man, where do you live? I'd definitely come to that shop and soup up my Camaro. My local shop just charged $550 for buying and installing a coolant sensor and an EGR. Thankfully I only had to pay $50 of it, but still...

@wildbloodydragon you can build a 300 hp 350 pretty easily these days... hell a local shop rebuilds 350s, with new cams, pistons, machining for $600, they charge the difference for the race parts... better cam high compression pistons, 3 angle valve job, headers, intake etc etc will put a stock old 350 in the 300 hp range with the right person tuning it

@mageac Definition of muscle car...any car with a V8 that's got some guts. LT1 Fleetwood and Caprice, Crown Vic...to me they're all lower end modern muscle cars. Camaro Z28 (V6 is no muscle car) or SS, Mustang GT and up...those would be the higher end ones in modern muscle cars. A cheap ass 350 won't put 300hp, at least not with 2 grand. Tranny and other parts, labor, time...you're better off getting an LS1 Camaro for 6 grand.
