Telemedicine

This project was developed by Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) for NSW Health in 2001. It was part of the Telehealth initiative where patients in rural and remote areas receive health care via the use of technology. The aim of the program was to train doctors, nurses and other health care workers in a range skills including taking clearer photos of patients feet and a range of emailing and other protocols.

As Instructional Designer and producer, I consulted with a range of NSW Health subject matter experts to develop the concept and worked closely with a doctor to develop scripts and CD-ROM prototype. I managed a team including Programmer, Screen Designer, Photographer and other media specialists.

NSW Health uses the Telemedicine CD-ROM in their internal professional development program.
