depends what your wanting to do... mix or just plain scratch. if your just wanting to be a turntablist go vinyl but if your a mobile dj that is just going to mix try out cd's. its all personal preff. i personally love vinyl and dont want to switch to anything else

is that the same mixer you had in the sir mix alot and run dmc video on mixing with out beat matching? if it is thats a bad mixer i like the cueing when you move the fader and it starts off where you cued it at

Yes it is the same mixer. There are a lot of mixers that have the fader start function. It is a fun little feature. Thanks for commenting.
