@OmgWTFize Nick's dialogues throughout the game regarding weddings, bloodstained dresses and women seem to hint that he had a violent past. My guess is that his own wedding or his marriage literally turned bloody at some point (or maybe he turned someone else's wedding day into a violent shootout or something). He was probably a mobster or belonged to some mafia group before the infection.

@OmgWTFize he said something like that in Swamp Fever, he and Ro talked about it. Nick complained about that the swamp water would ruin his suit, Ro pointed out it was already stainer din blood and brains. Then Nick said "blood and brains come out, swamp water doesn't.. don't ask me how i know that."
