a guy brought one of these into the shop to have the piston replaced. When we gave it back, we fully opened the throttle, as it had only been 1/3rd open before. He was in 2 days later after crashing it at top speed XD

ya its a good car ,

74.4mph on gps ,

it breaks if u do cartwheels w/ it or smash into a curb just like any thing else , but other than that it holds up pretty well . . .

do u run any electric brushless , if u have the money thats the way to go , check out these specs . . .

pacco .28 nitro engine = 2.84 hp ,

mamba monster on 6s lipos electric = 5.5hp

I just my 10 year old Tamiya TA02 Escort Cosworth and rebuilt it with a 2 x 13 brushed motor and 3700mh battery, I'm addicted again having not used it for about 8 years but want something quicker now - Wondering whether to buy a TA05/R and then maybe upgrading with a Mamba Max as some of the vids on here look awesome or whether to step into the unknown and buy a R28 (as I've never had a petrol/nitro car before), love the idea of the 3 speed gearbox! Would you recommend it?

well if you never had a nitro car and u want to get into it i would go for something a little cheaper ,

but if u want 2 go fast its not a matter of nitro vs electric , but what engine . . .

but i have an traxxas e-maxx with a novak 4.5 HV engine/ESC and it goes about 50mph , so if u want to go fast its about goin a right engine in the car ,

so i would stick to electric . . .

i checked it out and the only thing i like about it is the disk break! and the 5.0 motor,

i hav a fusion but i really recomend the cen talon as its a really good price and a really good buggy!
