  • FUCK THIS DUMB BITCH

  • My god she is dumb. How does someone like this hold high office? Take your religion and stick it down your republican throat.

  • Either Rep Bachmann never read the decision by the judge, and is ignorant of what it said, or she is deliberately misrepresenting it and lying. Seems xians like to do that a lot

  • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Clearly a national day of prayer is not prohibited.

  • We all know what you really mean Michelle: You think your religion is right, so you want to force it on everyone else.

  • Vote Tarryl Clark nov 2 she is some one you can be proud of if you elect her to congress

  • Rep. Bachmann isn't right about her interpretation of either religious clause of the 1st Amendment.

What do you call government declaring a National Day of Prayer other than "establishment of religion"? Government cannot and should not officially support religious practices.

As for free exercise: there's absolutely nothing stopping private citizens from praying. People should decide on their own if & when they pray. The National Day of Prayer, not Judge Crabb's ruling, violates this freedom.

  • @94chance94 Government should not promote any religion. That is what seperation of church and state is. WI just ruled national day of prayer unconstitutional.

  • @94chance94

First of all, is the Earth day supported by the government? and if it is. The view that we should take care of our Earth is a view that i think all humans share so we are not excluding any minority with a Earth day.

With a national day of prayer the government is excluding all those who are none believers or have other forms of worship which is discriminating to say the least.
