Fastest bike to run Triathlon Transition-Chris McDonald

Here is Chris's T2 at the Rockman 1/2 Ironman on June 7th 2009. Remember... the transition time starts when you dismount your bike... and cross the first mat until you are off and running and pass over the mat at the exit of the transition area. These times will be totally different depending on how the transitions are set up and where the mats are placed.

He should get a stop and go penalty. You are not allowed to take off your helmet before your bike is racked...

IT's a 1/2 ironman. The transition time is not vitally important here...

Yes that bike is a fast Specialized Transition!

Just look at the World cup raced in OD triathlons and you will see what fast transtitions bike to run are

this must be in USA british tri rules say your helmet must be fastend until you rack your bike

@Voutch Wrong. Rule 5.9(b) says "The helmet must be fastened before the participant first mounts the bicycle, at all times when the participant is on the bicycle, and must not be unfastened until the participant has dismounted." There is nothing in the rules about leaving your helmet on until the bike is racked.

28 sec is predy slow once he's racked his bike pros normally do it in 10 or less,

This was the fastest transition? I would love to do this triathlon. No referees or rules. What is with that jump at the end lol.
