Do you remember falling in love with cinema?
Why not share your passion for film with future generations by helping us to continue our annual Glasgow Youth Film Festival?
Glasgow Youth Film Festival (GYFF) is a festival created entirely by young people for young people and was set up in response to a lack of quality film activities for young audiences. The Festival offers thousands of young people in Glasgow, from toddlers to teenagers, the opportunity to experience the magic of world cinema and to meet industry professionals at exciting and affordable events.
GYFF challenges negative perceptions of young Glaswegians by highlighting the filmmaking talent and ambition of young people all over the city. The Festival provides free workshops in the heart of communities including Castlemilk, Easterhouse and Govan.
By donating to Glasgow Youth Film Festival, your contribution will support the worthwhile activities of GYFF. Every £1 donated between 6 - 10 December will be matched by Arts and Business, meaning your donation could be doubled! All donations, large or small, will help GYFF to achieve its fundraising target of £13,500.
To donate between December 6 - 10, please visit:
http://www.thebiggive.org.uk/donate/glasgowfilm
Any donations made outside these dates will not be eligible for match funding. Please put these dates into your diaries!
If you donate, you'll be credited in our brochure and will be invited to special events throughout the Festival. Most importantly, you'll be making a valuable contribution to the future of film culture in Scotland.
We hope you can help us.
Thanks,
