It is just one of numerous ways to set up the Woodsman Tarp Tent.

  • can ship one of those to Brazil? If you can, Im in for one, seriously!!

  • No problem. Just order one on my website and I will have it in the mail today.

  • Man where was the mule/horse to haul that thing. A nylon tent would be lighter, LOL. But I love a good tarp. Thanks

  • I only use the canvas tarp on solo canoe trips; otherwise I use a synthetic version of the same tarp on hiking trips.

  • Hi, I am really impressed by your set up here :-)

I would like to ask though do you use a square or rectangular tarp for this design? Im new to camping so this is all still a bit of a mistery for me haha

Thanks and keep up the good videos

  • How much does that weigh?

    Thanks

  • This is nice, but you really didnt show how to stake out the tarp to have that shape / underlap. Kind of key to the presentation, yes? Thank you for your videos, not trying to be a jerk!

  • How the hell did i get here from TYT?

  • Hi, just wondering what kind of pegs you use. I just want something somewhat "traditional looking" without going with wood, because I also need them to be rugged and dependable. Thanks!

  • Whats the size of the poles and the tarp? Very good job Sir :)

  • Best reviews of Instant Tent

  • Can I ask the title of this music that played in the video? It fits the video so nicely!

Great video too! Inspire me to modify my 10.5' square tarp to create more type of tarp tent! Keep up the good work!

  • @Fratern8 because they are wedged so that the tent pegs hold the tarp and the tarp holds up the sticks :) balance is a beautiful thing!!

  • Hi, great video! I'm planning a test with my BOB, and I have a very large tarp (it's a 10' by 17' tarp), and your idea to make such a tent is a great idea! I just had 1 question: how big is your tarp?

    Grtz, mandgsurvival
