That was one of the many reasons we decided on the American Eskimo Dog. They live a very long time compared to other breeds.
It might be too soon for your family to consider another, however; if you're interested, we currently have 5 ready for new homes. We have exhaustive details of their individual personalities on our website.

Amazing Dog:) My family had one for 17 full years, she unfortunatly passed a coupple months ago. But while having her she was the best dog you could ask for, well to have a dog like this you need to know, they are VERY hyper dogs who need attention and lots of love:) I miss our dog Keya but it wamazing having her while we did.

The only blow their coats twice a year. They're definitely outside dogs for those two weeks!

heyy there! i've been looking for another american eskimo for i don't even know how long. I used to have one but when my mother developed cancer I gave it to her because she desperately wanted a companion. I just thought that I would drop in to see if anyone, including the person whome this video belongs to could help me find another Snowflake. I would appreciate nyour help more than I can espress.
