We will never agree on every issue but we all agree that the spending is out of control, and that we stand for a limited Federal Government and a Government closest to the people governs best. Let's restore Government to its rightful owners, WE THE PEOPLE!! This song is a metaphoric call to arms to energize, motivate and unite the movement that we are all passionate about... the time is now to stand together, united, "AS ONE"

@TheFreedompig Not quite right. You see, the right believe in "big government" as well. They want to tell you what to think, what to believe, who to have relationships with, and what not to consume. They want to have control of your sex life and your body. By the sounds of it, they've already got control of your mind.

Even the "freedom" they talk about is only the freedom to exploit other people's labour for money. That's as far as their freedom goes.

@TheFreedompig Of course I know who George Washington is, and what federalism is. American didn't invent federalism. And I pointed out that your comparisons are silly. There really is no meaningful comparison between liberalism and fascism; the two are opposites. Even if it's true that they want to control guns, they want to control guns for different reasons. You also have many things in common with the fascists, but does that make you a fascist?

@TheFreedompig No but I follow US politics closely and I think I understand it fairly well. And I know that modern American liberals are not similar to the fascists my grandfather fought against in the second world war. I can see quite clearly that the people who most resemble fascists in modern America are on the right, as they are on the right in Europe.

@TheFreedompig But as I already pointed out, we already live in a collectivist system. There is no alternative to that. It's the nature of industrialism. And modern American social liberalism is simply not the same thing as fascism. Fascism is socially conservative, and it can be even economically conservative, and it can even embrace rugged individualism. Fascism was and is conservative and right-wing, not liberal. To think of it as similar to liberal is to completely misunderstand it.

However the fact remains that liberalism is very much aligned with the fascism as I pointed out with gun rights, class warfare tactics, collectivist philosphy, central planning, more power to the feds, national health care, national education, & on & on. obviously there r differences bt liberals, fascist & commies but U choose not to acknowledge how similar liberals & fascist r. And my contention is that liberalism is the opposite of fascism, and that fascism is "a form of capitalism which borrows just so much from socialism as will make it efficient for war purposes" (George Orwell). That is an accurate definition.

That last sentence is fine, but I think you mean Commie, not Fascist.
