it's not the record. judging by the flecks of dirt flying of your dogs, they are absolutely filthy and you've been neglecting them, hence the pissed-off behaviour.
And its wasn't the natural food making them happy. It was just the fact that they were actually getting fed for once (they wouldn't rush the food like that if they wern't hungry).
