The problem is that we humans are nowhere near as intelligent as we believe we are. These beautiful animals are highly intelligent, but just because they cannot speak, people assume they are not and treat them accordingly. It is human ignorance.

Oh and kudoz to Soloman!

@k3roj what makes u even think that other ppl even think like that?? Obama's not even African and the video says that shirly is Asian...also, its not about who the trainer is that makes the elephant sad, its the fact that there aren't any other elephants around...wow
-
just the idea of an asian animal being in america is wrong. any animal that is taken away from its origin is wrong.
-
why do we think it is ok to remove animals from the wild and make them perform for our pleasure...it's just selfish on our part. A reason I have never, nor will I ever go to any circus in which animals are forced to perform.

this man is amazing. he really deserves credit for being such a compassionate handler

@LoveStormyNights "How many humans can do that?" Plenty can, just because our social conformity is that of technology, doesn't mean the rest of the world is like that. There are plenty of Southern American tribes, African tribes, etc that are still pretty close to the roots of being completely dependent on survival and natural instinct.
( On a side note, usually when an animal gets sick/hurt it dies, because it has no way of understanding what is wrong with it)
annotation links are so hard to do.
