Austin based rockers Pushmonkey have seen above the clouds on many levels in the last several years. In 1999 while supporting their self titled Arista LP, Pushmonkey appeared live at Woodstock , in 2000 the group wowed audiences at Ozzfest and recently they are promoting their new cd El Bitche. With a steady stream of live performances and tracks in popular playstation games, Pushmonkey are rapidly moving up the ranks of the modern rock underground.
The clip you are seeing came from the May 18th 2002 show at (now closed) Steamboat in Austin TX.

1999 for me, but damn they have kicked my ass ever since. Minnesota Warren made some trips down to Austin to see them and every single time they have shown the true gusto that should make superstars....sad that everyone else didn't catch on. Rest in Peace, Billy Pilgrim.

Great almost unknown band...they need to make a comeback! This song rocks, as does this whole CD and the last one!
