Really nice landing. Not quite on the numbers, but very smooth. No wonder you are proud!
Remember, there are three useless things in flying. Altitude above you, runway behind you, and fuel in the truck. ;) Good on ya M8.

Perfect would be hearing the stall warning just prior to the wheels touching

Really nice video! And a great landing. Its nice seeing people landing at some of these strips..makes me want to get me license, and spend the rest of my days hopping from strip to strip :) All the very best with your flying. Happy landings!

The good ones, you'll remember always. Well done. I love the feeling of just a touch of brief drag when the wheels are spinning up. No jolt, just a brief drag. Those are the ones I remember.

Well, that's not close enough... It's not about not being able to hit the numbers, it's about choosing to shift further down in the effort of safety.

yea im under 61 and the closest ive gotten to the numbers was the third runway stripe...the only time i got the numbers is when i stalled on landing lol

Landing ON the numbers is a little too much. A good 141 school will have you landing on the second runway stripe.

what was your tail #? i took lessons at DTO and was wondering if it was one of the piper warriors i flew?

I have over 100 hours in a Warrior. My first was N81833. Others include all three at USFA: N9833S, 44S and 55S.
