WWII Springfield M1 Garand

Im a 15 year old World War II collector and this is my newest addition. WWII Springfield M1 Garand rifle. I bought this at the Military collectors show this weekend. The barrel is dated 6-41 and the receiver dates about 1944. I am aware that the sight knobs are Korean war, the original ones were replaced when this rifle was re-issued in the Korean War. The price of this gun was $750. I plan on replacing the sight knobs with the early windage lock bar ones, getting a original canvas or leather sling, m1905 long bayonet, grenade attachement and an original case. The sling on the rifle now is a WWII 1944/1945 era canvas sling, original.

@UncleDeluxe Thanks. Yeah, Febuary of 1943 and the barrel, March 1941.
