What a badass game, lovely concept and great designs! Sadly it's a little slow, but that's just chill, and it got the most epic ending in history! Awsome review, a lot of whining but ok. Good job. Now, brb eBay.

FCEUultra?
Thanks I'll try using that :)
According to the readme, file you can get with the translation patch for Wai Wai World if you manually patch ROMs like this, the translator did not know that there was a King Kong game from Konami at the time he made the translation patch. He even says that he thought Goemon was related to Doraemon LOL!

Nice 8-bit Benny Hill music.

Well, at the section in the final stage where you face that one-eyed shit I just fly through that section with Konami Man/Girl. You lose a lot less life like that.
Well, I like the game because I like challenges and I´m pretty patient. But your review kicks ass, great comments and stuff!

THE GOONIES why that's so gay
Firebrand101, what emulator are you using to play this game on?
I use NEStopia but when I get to the Twinbee/Vic Viper Level the emulator doesn't scroll correctly :(
Also, Kong is actually "King Kong", yep the gigantic Gorilla from the movies. His Konami game is "King Kong Megaton Punch".

I use Fecultra, best NES emulator in my own opinion,
and yeah I know Kong is King Kong, I've played his NES games and they're surprisingly fun, but I'm still not sure why the translator put "DK" in the pause menu

Konami Girl's bullets pass THROUGH most if not all enemies. Konami Boy's doesnt. Thats the difference.

I was gonna mention that, but I still don't find it makes a very big difference, both of their weapons are laughably weak
