I have a Sony Xperia U with Android Gingerbread 2.3.7; What´s the latest update version for my phone? And is it possible that it will slow down once I update it to the newest version (I heard that sometimes it happens)

P.S. Since I´ve never updated my OS since I bought the phone, I´m have doubts whether I am going to lose all of the data in my phone during the process (photos, videos, music etc)?

Hi Sir, the Xperia U is upgradable to v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The ICS system uses more RAM memory than GB so if you place to many apps on the phone the system could slow down. We recommend the use of a Task manager app to clean the RAM memory from time to time. -Francis.
