This scene was not done in CG. The tech crew had to build an exact replica of paris.

@rampskater0102 Hang on a sec. *Stands on soap box* That is NOT the reason why the two are different. Michael Bay is a MASTER at special effects, I will give him that. But his plots and his characters/actors always fall DEAD on their face, and you can't tell me otherwise. Chris Nolan can provide not only awesome special effects and imagination, but a worthwhile plot and actors that you don't want to KILL after 5 minutes. *Steps off of soap box*
