Be lucky you didn't finish it. The budget got cut midway, they didn't want another disc, so half of the game is Citan sitting in a chair saying this happened.. then that happened.. and then you get throw into dungeons that make no sense, and the entire plot is lost. One of the saddest parts of my childhood (yes, I know that's pathetic)

Xenogears by far is better than Xenosaga.

After playing Xenogears Xenosaga was just a huge let down.

@Wopple now if theyd only remake it in ps3 graphics...also...WTF?! WHEN I PLAYYED THIS IT DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE ANIME SCENES IN IT! WHAT DID I PLAY? O_o;

I remember fighting a dino in a forest with t mecha,but it didnt look like what ive been seeing,and later a sand worm thing...

Just to follow up, I was joking in the above comment. it's not that complicated. It has Catholic overtones but there is a shitload of symbolism and a lot of "out-of-the-box" thinking.

It's not easy to explain. If you played it you'd realize the religious overtones & similarities of religions ideals that were given parody in this game. Although I don't take the game seriously it does contain a lot more philosophy than most games I've played, as far as the story goes anyway. It's an awesome game.

I also heard it almost didn't get released in the U.S. for the same reason. What are the religious messages in the game that would cause this? I've never played Xenogears
