Drifting Andy McKee Performance

A video of me playing 'Drifting' by Andy McKee on an acoustic guitar.
The guitar used was an Ibanez AW40-TCS (in transparent black cherry sunburst) which was provided by Arron Prescott.
I used a pair of Sennheiser HD-485 headphones to monitor the sound and a Groovetubes Fatfinger for a little more sustain on the guitar. I also used a Rode NT2A Condenser Microphone to mic up the guitar to record with. I also took a signal from the built in guitar pre-amp, which is made by Fishman and sent both signals via XLR directly onto a Sony DSR-PD150P Camcorder and recorded directly onto a mini DV tape. I processed both audio signals and edited it in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

Really great cover. The only criticism I have is that the third and fourth bass parts in the main section are an eighth after the melody.

Left hand is WAAAAAAAAAY off. I didn't watch this vid until I saw your tutorial and I was like, "What? Melody isn't 'on -beat' here! The 'beat' is the same all the time!". So I just had to watch this, and now I hear that it is waaaay wrong. Your good anyways, its just the 'beat' that is wrong.

very good..and tks for the lessons... but you forgot so many harmonics, almost all of then... why didn't you used it?
