Thank you for the video. This is something every member of the church should know. I have been researched a lot this subject and what more dissapointed me was the fact that some leaders were not familiar about this subject showing that they didn't care too much because this wasn't something that affected them. But the thing is THIS WAS a part of church history and then it is why I say: every member should know and UNDERSTAND.

How then do you account for similar changes Evangelicals and Catholics have made in order to accomodate a more accepting time frame? How can we take opinions made by people in a primitive mindset as doctrine? Did you listen to this video?

This is tripe. These things which were said by prophets were meant to be of God and for God. If what they said back then was wrong, then where does one draw the line in the here and now. I mean you could sayy just about every LDS proclamation to be a human error.
I think all this fine tuning of doctrine is just modernist LDS 'doctrine shopping' stuff they want and don't want to believe.
