how is space exploration a 'waste'... the sun and planet will only exist for a short amount of time.. the ONLY way to guarntee human existence is to travel to the stars... we spend $350+ million per day to fight the war on 'terror'... thats chump change compared to what nasa gets... im sure they waste money too, but what are we gonna do...?... keep fighting on this planet untill its destroyed or untill the sun burns out..? or find new 'battlegrounds'/resouces in outer space...? you decide...

if this money was using in biology we could have cured cancer and aids since a really long time now, alots of scientist say the same, space is a great thing, but for the price and the result ... it's a waiste of money, all those billions.

Giving that cash away to some crapy coutry would be a total waste of cash. Nasa keeps thousands of workers working. How would building quake resistant buildings help more than a few hundred people? Nasa devolops tech that is used in many of the products we use every day.
