Monolake Live Surround explores the possibilities of spatial sound design in a club environment, using Monolakes minimal, dub-influenced techno music. Monolakes Robert Henke is joined by Tarik Barri for the live performance.

Robert Henke (DE) is a composer, sound designer, software developer, installation artist and performer. His music has roots in academic sound research as well as in club culture, and the result is a sophisticated yet accessible body of work. Tarik Barri (NL) is an audiovisual composer who aims to discover new synergies and aesthetics in the combination of image and sound, through new audiovisual composition methods realized with self-made computer software.

Jammer van de setting. 80% van het publiek was niet geinteresseerd in Monolake en kwam gewoon omdat het studentenavond was. Henke was ook niet echt blij met zijn lage positie in het midden van de zaal, meermalen dreigden glazen bier om te vallen over zijn monodeck. De set was wel briljant.. en dank voor het uploaden van de video! :)

80% people were not interested? Anyway, this video is just awesome! I realize how deep can techno be! I've never heard so deep techno music! And graphics on screen - this is even more amazing! How on earth can somebody do something like that? This is crazy... Amazing combination of techno and visuals!

yo technozem, ik was bij toeval toen idd bij noodlanding en zagen toen deze visuals. vonden dit super gaaf en ben op zoek naar meer en betere kwaliteit videos geweest maar nooit echt iets meer kunnen vinden. heb je nog hints??
