Flash Verizon iPhone to Cricket

Before trying this, add your meid to cricket (or metro pcs) database by calling them and giving them your meid in decimal format. Then dial *22804. If that does not work, this method will help you. You don't need to do this if *22804 after adding your meid!

This shows you how to get your Verizon iPhone 4 on Cricket (voice and text only) I'm running 4.2.7 but I have not verified if this works on 5.0+ so if it does please let me know. As far as I know it should work exactly the same way. Text only works for a couple weeks at most and then begins to degrade. Apparently that is a problem Cricket needs to solve so I'll let you know if that ever happens.

I don't explain how to ssh very well so if you don't know how to do that you will have to look it up. It's not hard but it requires more than just a sentence of explaining

@anjeuri3312 I think you mean prl? If you can't find the prl on cdmaguru i don't know where to find it. If you have added your meid number to cricket, call *22804 on your iphone and see if it works. If not i will help you find your prl. CDMA is the type of iPhone your have, not something you need to find

@MrModel909 \You need to call Cricket and ask them to add your ESN number. iPhone's use a MEID number which is just the ESN number in decimal format so you need to find a hex to dec converter. Here is an easy one that you can put your meid number in and it will give you the decimal ESN: easycalculation. com/hex-converter.php

if you cant get data. that means you cannot browse the internet???? if this is the case then what is the reasoning for such a hack. you might as well use a cheap cricket phone. this is a good tutorial though
