@rexx1234567 ...also it took me 20 minutes to vacuum up all that dust off the floor, the window sill, all of my tools, the vacuum itself, etc. Which is ridiculous (thanks Ryobi). But, your video may be a lifesaver!

I can't thank you enough. I have a Ryobi CSB141LZ Circular Saw. I needed to cut a Jeldwen hollow 6 Panel door. For that purpose, the rear dust collection feature of the Ryobi saw was a joke. There was plenty of course dust all around and fine dust was thrown even further across the room. This happened even with the Rigid shopvac attached to the dust port, the rear-mounted dust port caught nothing. I will try your method next. I knew that Ryobi should have put the dust pipe on the front.

Awesome idea. If I knew this earlier, I could have saved my neighbour's 5 series from covered in dust...hehehe

Hi. Using the front of the belt sander, like in the video.
can you make a comparison of the front and the back dust collection. is the front better or the same. anyway, this is a nice video tutorial. thank you

Thanks. The front dust port works much better.
You collect the dust at the source.
