This videos dosn't show the true potential of Amalga which is in the back end. Amalga UIS is very interesting. It combines all the data from different sources from a hospital, parses it into databases according to business rules and creates separate views to access all the combined data in a meaningful way to the client.

Looks really awesome. But I think the adoption of it in the real world will take like 10 mabye 20 years, that is, until a critical mass of doctors who grew up with computers and internet have entered the workforce.
