This tutorial will show you how to add subtitles to any dvd and it's the easiest way I've ever seen...

Links:
VirtualDub - http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
Subtitle Plugin - http://www.virtualdub.org/virtualdub_filters.html

Instructions (Also In Video)

Hello, today I will be showing you how
to add subtitles to any movie you would
like to.. Sorry for no audio I recently
got a new laptop and I haven't gotten
a mic for it yet. I'll post these
instructions in the description also..

First you need to download a program
called VirtualDub, I will put the links
in the description.

After downloading that you will need to
download the Subtitler plugin for
VirtualDub, link in description.

To add the filter to VirtualDub you
will need to take the plugin and
put it in the plugins folder I won't
be doing that because I've already
done it and don't feel like going through
the trouble doing it again, if you have
any questions about it just comment me
and ill get back to you..

After doing all of that you need to
open VirtualDub then select file-
load movie.

When your movie loads you need to select
video-filters-add-Subtitler. Then
click the little square box with the
3 dots and select your subtitle file.

After selecting your subtitles and movie
you need to press ctrl+p, usually
you will pick the DivX compression
but if you don't have it you can use
one that best suits you. I prefer
the Microsoft video 1 compression.

Then after selecting the compression
you can press F7 and save your file
and wait for the process to finish.

Then your done!!! Enjoy your new movie
with hardcoded subtitles :)

Any questions just comment or message
me and i'll write back as soon as I can
Thank you for watching my tutorial

  • Everyone I haven't done this since I made the video. I don't even own a pc anymore I own a Mac.. So if you just follow the instructions step by step it will always work. If it doesn't.. Google is your friend. Sorry for the inconvenience..
