GET THE FUCK OFF MY STRAY CATS VIDEO

The Stray Cats revived rockabilly in the 80s with lots of raw punkish energy. Lee Rocker tore up the doghouse bass, Brian Setzer was a one-man music machine on vocals and a classic hollow body Gretsch, while Slim Jim Phantom hammered a stripped-down drum kit—while standing up, no less. They blew away the NYC hipsters at CBGBs, moved to London to launch their recording career, and along with other bands like the Ramones and the Violent Femmes re-energized rock as a music form.
