Ive always loved these guys. Since i was 4 or 5 i was listening to these guys. First i didn't know who the hell Vera was. Thats when my uncle got me got a book about Every pink Floyd song. Comfortably Numb just made me sleep. One request, u should of put Bring the boys back home in. Best 8 mins of my life.
Incredible chord progression. Simple and emotional. And Gilmour's solo is my favorite one he's done.
Vera Lynn is great

@ingloriousspartan the hammers represent metaphorically a blunt, unthinking, obedient force, molded in identical fashion, unquestioning, unidealized, unemotional, single-mindedness. with floyds interpretation of a juxtaposed reality, wherein society expects through education a same molded understanding, and reality forces upon his character feelings he is not supposed to reflect upon, thus causing a rip in his mind. in reaction, he falls to the extreme unrelenting desire to be cold and heartles
