Ken owns the local upholstery shop in town. He's been workin' on this awesome '50 Plymouth convertible for quite a while, and I've looked in on it, but he wouldn't let me put up a vid till it was closer to done. Now it is and he's sold his shop and is thinkin' he'll sell it. His plan is to keep workin' on it till he has to move out. I think it's going to make somebody a heck of a fine ride.... By the way Ken's been building cars for years. This is one that's built right...

  • @rpeek yes will do today actually. i am so interested is because i just bought myself a 1950 Plymouth coupe as well. and would like some info on his work. Very Nice Car. what some minds can accomplish.

  • graet car but i say different about the frame

  • @farmall1938 I don't think Ken started with a solid car. He talked about how hard it was to get everything to line up with no floor and such. Up here, most of what you find has been pretty much eaten away. I'm pretty amazed that the doors, hood, trunk, and everything opens and closes as good as it does, since I know he had to make it all fit piecing together pieces and parts..

  • @rpeek LOL I know, and no offence to you or the builder.... I just hate to see solid cars modified- Guess Im more of a purist.... Still enjoy your videos though !!!!

  • @farmall1938 This ain't a hack job. If you want to see a hack job, look at my car.. hahahahaha..

  • @rpeek Well its not still in the car.......therefore doesn't really matter where it is now, to me anyway.... A 50 convertible should be restored, not hacked up. IMHO
