Human Torch effect

...another test


HOW IT WAS DONE:
For the "transformation", I used Andrew Kramer's technique in his disintegration tutorial. Then for the fiery outside, I made a displacement map of the original footage, so it was a bit higher... then put on a turbulent displace... made the size like 12, the amount maybe 50, and the complexity like 8. I put time*500 expression for the evolution. After some color correction for making it fire-like, it was done. Then I just made some particles for the "ash" stuff and glow and stuff. I know that was really confusing.
